We've listed some of the ways you can volunteer below.  However, if you have special skills to offer, please call our Community and Volunteer Service office at (269) 223-5497 so we can discuss how you can best use your talents to help our patients.

Project Title: Delivery of Bedside Music

  • Volunteers needed to perform soothing music to our residents in the Community Living Center that are bed ridden during quiet times.  Music would be provided to Palliative and extended care residents.
  • Volunteers must be 14 years of age or older, attend a volunteer orientation, and service specific orientation.
  • Volunteers must show respect, dedication, and commitment.  Must have a willingness to learn and ability to work showing patient's compassion.  

Project Title: Card making from home

  • If you are creative and crafty this is an opportunity for you to accomplish from home.  Our Veterans are always in need of greeting cards; Mother's Day, Father's Day, holiday, general greeting, etc. to send to friends and loved ones on any occasion.
  • Volunteers must be 14 years of age or older, attend a volunteer orientation, and service specific orientation.
  • Volunteers must show respect, dedication, and commitment.  Must have a willingness to learn and ability to work showing patient's compassion.
