Battle Creek Kicks Off National Salute Week
The Battle Creek VAMC will kick off National Salute to Veteran Patients Week on February 12, 2016.
The Battle Creek VA Medical Center (VAMC) will kick off National Salute to Veteran Patients (NSVP) Week with a USO Style show open to the public. The show performed by the Kalamazoo Singers will take place in the Theatre, Building 138, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 pm on February 12, 2016.
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) National Salute is observed annually during the week of Valentine's Day. It is a time to express our honor and appreciation to Veterans who receive their care from the Veterans Health Administration.
During NSVP Week, the Battle Creek VAMC will host a variety of events for Veterans at the Medical Center. We will also recognize Veterans at our Wyoming Health Care Center and our Community Based Outpatient Clinics in Benton Harbor, Lansing, and Muskegon.
In addition to the USO show we will also host a Veteran Talent Show on February 18, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. in Building 138, Theatre. We encourage everyone to come to cheer on our talented Veterans and thank them for their service to our country.
