What We Do

The Community Living Center provides short-stay and long-stay nursing home care to Veterans who are medically and psychiatrically stable. Services may include skilled nursing care, rehabilitation, dementia care, respite, and palliative care. The Community Living Center programs strive to restore the Veteran to highest practicable level of well-being, maximize function and independence, prevent decline in health, and provide comfort at the end of life in a home-like environment.

Service Information

The mission of our Community Living Center is to provide a dynamic array of services in a person-centered environment that meet the individual needs of our residents, providing excellent health care and quality of life. We embrace a person centered care approach. Each resident’s treatment plan reflects his or her specific needs, and care decisions are driven by the wishes, preferences, and lifelong habits of the resident. Provision of services is consistent with the Joint Commission’s Nursing Care Center Standards.
