Service Information

A neuropsychological assessment can determine a Veteran’s current cognitive, emotional, and psychological status. This will help the Veteran and his/her medical team make the best treatment decisions in order to (a) provide a baseline that can be compared to future evaluations to monitor changes; (b) help educate Veterans and their families and caregivers about how a brain disorder or injury might impact their thinking and functioning; and (c) identify potential ways to improve cognitive and day to day functioning.
