What We Do

The Radiology Service serves both inpatients and outpatients.  The Service provides imaging of anatomical structure and physiological processes of the human body by acquiring diagnostic images for Radiologist interpretation through the use of 

Battle Creek and Wyoming:

  • General radiography
  • Fluoroscopy
  • Ultrasound
  • Computed tomography (CT)
  • Bone density testing

Battle Creek only:

  • Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)
  • Nuclear medicine

Special radiology exams not performed on-site are available through referral by utilizing other VA facilities, as well as the private sector.

Service Information

Outpatient service hours for general radiography are Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., excluding Federal Holidays, and Saturday 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

An appointment must be made for fluoroscopy, computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), ultrasound, bone density testing and nuclear medicine.  Please call extension 31951 or 35229 for Battle Creek or extension 30324 for Wyoming to schedule these appointments.
